Antique / Vintage Copper Sulfate Daniell Type Grenet Cell Battery

Here we have a well built Daniell type battery cell made by Philip Harris, Ltd. of Birmingham.  It is a copper cell (pot) and electrode with brass adjustable stand and wood base.  Comes with an old laboratory type glass bottle and stopper with copper sulfate crystals.  I acquired the two items together as a set and so they shall be sold.  Just add acid to the crystals in the pot and you have a battery if you can stand the smell.  Always displayed well and attracted attention with the bright blue crystals. I have never tried to use the device but everything seems complete and with everything in it's place (about as simple as it gets).  The bottle stands 6 inches tall and is 2.5 inches in diameter.  The battery unit is the same height and the base is 7 X 5 inches.  The pictures tell the story better than I can.  Sold as is.  Return only if not as described and shown in photos.  No Overseas Shipping at this time.  I am still fully employed and overseas shipping consumes too much time and can create issues.  Thanks.
